The chatbot streamlined the registration process with auto-filled email fields, offered five different date/time options, and integrated with Michael’s email software for automated confirmations.

Step 1: Collecting Email Addresses

After opting into the chatbot, users select their preferred webinar attendance time via quick reply options. A critical note: campaigns like this should be deactivated after the event ends to prevent subscriber confusion.

Step 2: Registering for the Live Webinar

Users select their preferred date and time while data is tracked in the backend system. This information enables future targeted messaging strategies.

Step 3: Confirmation Email

Immediately after opting in through Messenger, users receive an automated confirmation email including a complementary workbook attendees can access on their phones during the webinar.

Bonus: Chatbot Webinar Reminders

Low attendance is a major challenge for live workshops. Bot Academy discovered that without reminders, approximately 10% of registered participants attended. When they implemented reminder messages sent three minutes before the event start time, attendance doubled to 22%.
